Get two meticulous people (James is great with a butter knife) together with a common goal and a room full of candy and there's no saying what can happen.
James has always been fascinated with kitchen knives. I recall a certain incident when, as a wee lad he cut his hand on a very sharp kitchen knife. We rushed him to the ER. Since this was in The Bahamas (the Third World) there was no nurse on staff so I had to hold his little hand while the doctor stitched it up. I became so woosy that I fainted straight away.
